 MC Eric J. Harris, Q.C. , started at 7:10

Dr. Penny Ballem, having visited Mae Sot in February 2007, presented a compelling account of the medical care services delivered by the MTC and BPHWT, and the incredibly effective use made of the funds raised by the tourney.

The MC introduced :

a) Craig Norris-Jones, Coast Hotels & Resorts, who spoke briefly,

b) Tamara Vrooman, CEO Vancity Group,

c) Darryl Hebert, CFO, Lower Mainland Steel Group, and

d) Cam Mehlenbacher, Canpages.

1. AABC putting contest draw winner Tim Charron chose as his prize a Taylor Made R7 Driver (courtesy of the University Golf Club). The alternative he could have chosen, four rounds of golf at the Whistler Golf Club (courtesy of tourney), were put on the silent auction table.
